Ice cream is one of the most greatest invention in our life 🤣 you know i love many things right, one of them is an ice cream. It is sweet, cold and it definitely will make you happy, especially if you live in Jakarta you will definitely need ice cream to neutralize Jakarta hot weather. Alberto gelato & pattiserie is one of the ice cream place in Jakarta it is located in Jl. Boulevard Raya Blok QF3 No. 11.

A little bit story here about i find this place. One day i want to go to Mall Kelapa gading but my ojek driver took a different route than usual. So, when i still on my way to the mall my eyes catch this place and i decided to go here the next day. Long story short i try to find this place by walking, in my memories it is not too far from the mall but it turns out it is kinda far 😼 i think it's about 1 km from the mall. Well, look at the bright side i get to exercise a bit 🤣.

Alberto has a classic and fancy concept for the place. You can see it from the white color they use for their main color for the place. Also the chandelier, and the classic painting on the wall make the concept more stancdout. Eventhough Alberto is not cafe hangout kinda place, but i guarantee you can spend a lot of time here because the place is cool and cozy.

For the gelato they have about 20 different flavors and before you order it you can try the gelato first. As for me i kinda confused with the flavor of the gelato because they use unique name for the flavor or maybe it is a foreign language i don't know like Lampone, Nere, ananas and etc. Don't worry the waiter/waitress will gladly explain the flavor to you, you can just use the touch screen technology (Like in warteg if you know what i mean) and the waiter/waitress will help you with it.

For the price is based on the scoop you want, if you want two scoops it is 35K, If three scoops it is 48K. Also like other, you can choose with cone or cup. Actually they have seasonal menu like in this summer they have fruity flavor menu for the gelato, as for this special menu they already mix some of the ice cream falvors so we don't have to choose it by ourselves. But, i prefer mix the ice cream myself, my taste my adventure 🤣

Torta Paradise & Speculaas 

Actually there are two scoops for this gelato, but the other on is really deep down the cone so my camera didn,t catch it perfectly i'm so sorry. The white one is torta paradiso flavor the flavor combine between vanilla and lemon it makes the flavor kinda unique at first i think it is coconut, it really tastes the same and like it. The other one is speculaas, the flavor has cinnamon taste in it like the cone. The cone has cinnamon taste too, i like speculaas the cinnamon taste is not too strong it is on the right level.

Chocolate nero & Toblerone

If you can see it clearly there are two different chocolate colors the light one and the darker one. The light one is toblerone, basocally it is pure toblerone in ice cream shape i love it and the texture of the ice cream is thick so it makes great taste. The darker one is chocolate nero, well i can say it is dark chocolate. The taste of it is bitter than the toblorene, personally i like bitter chocolate it is a must try flavor from me.

Dragon fruit & Banana

This one is really really good. i was feeling queasy when i ate the other two ice creams but this one is not at all, it is really fresh!! I like it so much. The flavor basically really the same like the fruit flavor i have nothing much to say. It is like fresh smoothies on the hot weather.

Ice cream makes me happy and i think this place will be my new happy place :) see you on the next review best friends xoxoxo.
